My heart aches for the Watson, Gray family to lose in death your precious loved one Ms. Etta. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) wants you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18
None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection.
Our savior, Jesus, promises us at: John 6: 40; "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day".
And again at: John 5: 28; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."
And also at: John 11:23-25; "Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life." The one who exercises faith in me, even tho he dies, will come to life."
I pray that Jesus's promise to reunite us with our loved ones on resurrection day will carry you through the difficult days ahead and gradually replace your tears of grief with tears of joy as you reflect on your precious memories of happier times with Ms. Etta.

To the Watson Family. God says in his word that gray-hair is a crown of beauty. (Proverbs 16:31) He considers it unrighteous to forget the diligent works one does. (Hebrews 6:10) He knows you will miss her gentle touch, her warm smile and her loving discipline. He describes himself as the God of all comfort and the Father of tender mercies who comforts us in all our (your) trials...."(2 Corinthians 1:3-4) He will give you the strength beyond what is normal to stand up to the lonely days ahead. Even though he resides in heaven he resides with those who are crushed and low in spirit to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of those being crushed." (Isaiah 57:15) So, do not hesitate to pour your heart out to him and tell him about the pain you feel and the longing in your heart. When the crowd has slowed down please takes time to listen to the words of comfort found in the sited scriptures and experience the lasting comfort that only God can give your family.

My Prayers are with the family, as I leave you with this comforting scripture.2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4 (3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
