Mr. Wilson Lloyd, 80, son of William and Louise Lloyd was born September 21, 1940 in Scotland County, South Carolina. He transitioned from his earthly life on February 14, 2021.
Wilson was a former employee of Borden’s Dairy as a mechanic for 30 years of service. After retirement he later worked at Kmart. He then was employed by the Guilford County Schools System at Parkview Elementary School as a Custodian until his retirement in 2005.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Harlene Lloyd and a brother, William Archie Lloyd.
He leaves to cherish fond memories his children; three sons, Wilson Bernard Lloyd of the home, Ronnie (Gina) Johnson of Georgia, and Mallory Quick; three daughters, Amanda Quick, Vivian (Johnny) Rivers, and Arnetta (Chris) Scott; one brother, Bobby Lloyd of California; five sisters, Annie Gray of High Point, Betty Bryant of Rockville, MD, Delores Thompson of High Point, Shirley(Tom) Johnson of Brooklyn, NY, and Sarah Thomas of High Point; one aunt, Dorletha Wardlaw of High Point; twelve grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends. A private Celebration of Life will be given at 11:00am, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 5710 Riverdale Rd., Jamestown, North Carolina.
