Willie Ruth Davis "Baby Ruth" was born to Willie Charles Bethea & Ruthie Mae Brown on September 5th, 1955, in Dillion, South Carolina. Willie Ruth's God given parents were Jessie & Janie Richardson that were raised in High Point, North Carolina.
Ruth's Academic achievements consisted of attending Fairview Elementary school, Ferndale, middle school, Page & Dudley high school Ruth was a world traveler & a plant lover with a green thumb. She was known for her cooking & canning. She was a great quilt maker & loved arts and crafts. Ruth loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed entertaining family & friends, & she enjoyed a good meal. as she was always the life of the party & would always express her true thoughts.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Ruthie Mae Brown & brother, Haywood Watts.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, her daughters, Delores N. Brown & Sena Ingram; 7 grandchildren, Jasmine A Dubuclet, Llcia L. York, IDiuh D. Jones, Zaria A Miller, Brenden X. Miller, Kaira S. Miller, & Dorian K, Miller; 6 great grandchildren, Heath B. Dubuclet, X'Zavier M. Mosley, A'Miyah L. Mosley, Briana J. Dubuclet, Alaia R. Robertson, & Leaini U. Jones; 3 sisters; Hazel A McKenzie (Danny) of Llberty, NC, Gertrude Brown of Dumfries, VA, & Patricia McBride (Charles) of Greensboro NC; 3 Brothers, Warren K. Brown, TySha A Brown, & Oscar Watts of Charlotte NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 1: p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from the Chapel of Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street. In every effort to protect our client families, protective facial coverings and social distancing are mandatory requirements.
