All things come home at eventide and so it was with our loved one Walter Franklin Pass, (affectionately known as Frankie). On Wednesday afternoon, November 15, 2023, at Greenhaven Health and Rehabilitation Center, Walter peacefully made his transition into life everlasting following a brief illness. His soul is now out of pain and is at eternal rest.
Our beloved Frankie was born on April 2, 1948 to the late Charlie Pass Jr. and Ella Verma Jones Pass Heggie. He is preceded in death by two brothers Charles A. Pass, James Douglas Pass and one sister Mary L. Warren. He was a graduate of Laughlin High School in Summerfield, N.C. Frankie love auto racing, football, basketball and his cars, especially Fords and Lincolns. He was of the Baptist faith. He also served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and is an inactive member of the Luther Kimbrough Lodge #838 PHA.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Marva Nichelle Warnsley (Randy); one grandson, Timothy Warnsley of Belews Creek, N.C.; three sisters, Paula Moore (Donald), Altamonte FL., Ella Dixon (Willie), Greensboro, N.C. and Selma Gooden (Demetrious) High Point, N.C., a God-brother, Bobby Walls of West Hempstead, N.Y.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, relatives and friends. Special friends, Clyde Scale, Everett Watlington and John Henry Siddles all of Belews Creek, N.C.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Oak Ridge First Baptist Church, 2445 Oak Ridge Rd., Oak Ridge, NC. The family will receive visitors and friends from 11 to 11:30am at the church and the service will began at 11:30am. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
