Thadarius “TD” passed away on November 6, 2021, at 4;11 PM AT Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. Thadarius was born in High Point, North Carolina on March31, 1994. He graduated from T. W. Andrews in 2012 where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He enjoyed being around his family and close friends. Thadarius always had a smile on his face and made the best out of life.
Thadarius was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Roland and Minnie Moore; great grandmother, Mary Sanders, paternal great grandparents, Pearlie Bethea and Lawrence Bethea; one uncle, Ervin Bethea, one great great uncle, Mickey Walker, one great great aunt, Sylvia Walker, one great great great aunt, Susan Cook; three cousins, Antonio Purnell, Kaleef Walker, and Malik Peterson.
Thadarius leaves to cherish and carry on his memory; two loving parents, Sarah and Shillbourn Purnell; one daughter, Madison Sanders; sister, Quaneisha Purnell; brother, JaQuarius Purnell; bonus brother, Billy Brown; mother of his daughter, Brianna McKoy; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Maria Sanders of North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Thurman Purnell, Sr. and Alice Purnell of South Carolina; four aunts, Shannon Sanders, Titania Sanders (Faron Davis), Celeste (William) Watson, Maureen (Joseph) Gordon; two uncles, Leroy Sanders, Jr. and Michael Sanders all of North Carolina; aunt, Monica Purnell, Tammy (Troy) Baker, Travis Purnell, Terrance Purnell, Thurman, Jr. (Beth) Purnell all of South Carolina; cousins, Shaquille Peterson, Xavier Peterson, Tacoyia Thomas, Dewana Ingram, Ismeil Thomas, Geraynard Thomas, Jr., Courtney Harris, Deandre Moore, Steven Moore, Tovorris Murphy, Krystal Sanders, Trisha Sanders, Tiffany Baker, Janessa (Cranac, Jr.) Surpris and a host of other aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and friends. We would also like to acknowledge his family in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and California.
