Teresa Gail Jacobs

Teresa Gail Jacobs went to her heavenly home on October, 20,2024 at the age of 64.

Lovingly known by everyone as Gail.  She was born to the late Whaley and Lydia Mabel Jacobs on October 28, 1959, in Roberson County, NC.  She was the youngest of ten children.  In her youth, she graduated high school and later went on to obtain her associate's degree. 

Gail met her longtime partner, James Earl Williamson in 1977. They had one son together, Earl Jermaine Jacobs, her pride and joy. 

She leaves behind her son Jermaine (Ashley) of Clarksville, TN.  Her daughter, Rhonda (Michael) Stephens of Burlington, NC.  She had five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She has four brothers: Jerry Neil (Margaret) of Greensboro, NC; Lynn Bruce (Sheryl) Jacobs of Lumberton, NC; August Jacobs of Liberty, NC; and Carlton Ray (Cheryl) Jacobs of Archdale, NC.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and close family.  All of which she loved dearly. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Whaley and Lydia Jacobs; her brothers, Gene Jacobs, Vann Jacobs, Venlen Jacobs, and Michael Jacobs; and her only sister, Doris Zaharius. 

She was known for her sweet potato bread and cake, and her peanut butter cake.  She was loved by so many and will be missed tremendously.  "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2Corinthians 5:8.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1603 Derbyshire Trail, Reidsville, NC.
