Steve Vanstory Neal departed this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He was a native of Rockingham County and a resident of Guilford County for the majority of his life. He attended Northeast High School and was a retired construction worker. During his leisure, he enjoyed repairing bicycling, farming, horseback riding and socializing.
His parents, Harvey Neal, Sr. and Virginia Flack Neal; siblings, Thomas, Brenda Faye, and Perry Joe Neal, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: daughter, Pamela Russell; grandchildren, Tyric Bethel, Takhia Winchester and Tristan Pettiford-Russell; brother, Harvey Neal, Jr.; aunt, Myrtle Flack Simmons; uncle, Raymond Neal (Sparkle); other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 from the Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street with Bishop Ron Flack, Jr. presiding. The Family visitation will be on Friday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Public viewing will be Thursday afternoon from 3 until 5 p.m. at Cornerstone Christian Center. Funeral arrangements are Johnson & Sons of High Point.
