Shirley Ann Hinson

Ms. Shirley Ann Hinson transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 05, 2021. Shirley was born on June 22, 1937, in Cheraw, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of Alonzo Hinson and Lola Floyd Hinson who preceded her in death.

In1997, she joined in fellowship with the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Missionary Ministry.  She loved attending church and was dedicated to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Shirley was a quiet person and greeted everyone with a smile. Even though her life had challenges, she embraced life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family traveling to Disney World, going on cruises, and riding on the train. She especially enjoyed bicycle riding with her daughter, Denise who also preceded her in death in September of this year.  Shirley will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loving memories will be cherished by her sister, Cleo Smith of the home; brother, Theodore Mack of High Point, NC; cousin, Milton Howard of Henderson, NC; her Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Family and a host of other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be given at 12 noon on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street, High Point, North Carolina.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. Live streaming at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8NlCO-XxJpait1cE_IIUnQ
