Sanford Lee Pulliam

Sanford Lee Pulliam transitioned on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Authoracare Hospice in Greensboro.  He was born on December 8, 1952, to Effy Nelson Pulliam and Claude Allan Pulliam in Surry County, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Sanford was preceded in death by siblings, William Pulliam, Curtis Pulliam, Lyman Pulliam , Richard Pulliam, Claude Pulliam and Shirley Nortan.

Left to cherish loving memories are his children, Sammy Dickerson (Sabrina Stalvey), Melissa Dickerson Grindall, and Amanda Dickerson (Stacey Anthony); grandchildren, Hope Dickerson, Shayne Dickerson, Kayleigh Dickerson, Dweight Gaston, Walter Hicks, Layla Hicks, Tyler Bradshaw, Nicholas Bradshaw, and Riley Grindall; sisters, Mary Lamberth and Patsey Miller; he also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, close family and friends.
