Rosie Hunt, the blessed gift of the late John and Sarah Hunt was born on March 15, 1939. Following a period of illness, she departed this life on Friday, May 20, 2022.
As a resident of Lawson’s Family Care Home for an extended period of time, she was known as the “Lady of the Manor”. She was always cleaning and working to make the dwelling better because she felt no one could do it better than she could. She enjoyed buying things to enhance the home and giving orders. Being vibrant and full of energy, she was loved by all.
Rosie was truly a pillar of strength and an inspiration to all who knew her. We thank God for her impacting presence and memories to forever cherish.
In addition to her parents, thirteen siblings preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory, include: a sister, Phonsia Lewis; her extended family, Annette Coleman, Samuel Dixon, Marcus Harrison, Ramon Sheppard and Bobby Sanders; staff of Lawson Family Care Home; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
