Robert Junior Turner

Mr. Robert Junior Turner, 51, transitioned early Sunday morning, August 16, 2020. He was born October 13, 1968 in High Point, North Carolina.  He was the son of Agnes Ann Turner and Clifton Sturdivant.

Robert attended the High Point City Schools and later worked hard to receive his GED. He enrolled with Job Corps NC where he learned skills to further his career. A skilled laborer, he worked several years in the furniture manufacturing industries here in the area.

Robert was a good-natured, very caring, “Cool” person who was always full of laughter. He showed himself to be a loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Cousin, and Nephew. Robert cherished spending time with his family; especially during the holidays. A fan of good food, he loved his Aunt Margaret’s sweet potato pies and his Aunt Evelyn’s cakes. He enjoyed sports and had an avid love for football and basketball.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Odessa Turner.

Robert leaves on God’s Earth to cherish precious memories, his loving wife, whom he married on August 22, 2011, Sylvia Turner of the home, his mother, Agnes Turner; one daughter, Chassidy Williams; two sons, Montres Turner and Robert Turner all of High Point, NC, two step children, Kroshawnda Thomas and William Thomas of Thomasville, NC; one brother, Emery Turner of High Point, NC; six grandchildren, Jaquisa Williams, Ryan Turner, Brianna Turner, Londyn Turner, Za’miyah Reid and Jabari Thomas; father-in-law, James Autry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives and treasured friends.

A Celebration of Life will be given at 12 noon, graveside, on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, North Carolina,.
