Randolph Roseboro

Mr. Randolph (“Hollywood”) Roseboro, 71, of High Point, N.C., passed away Saturday February 27th, 2021 at his home in High Point, N.C. He was born February 28th, 1949 in High Point, N.C. a son of the late Nellie Elizabeth Roseboro and Rudolph Baldwin. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Ronald Eugene Roseboro Sr. and Robert Roseboro.

A 1967 graduate of William Penn High School, Randolph lived most of his life in High Point, N.C. He was last employed with Vann York Pontiac in High Point, N.C. A member of Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church in High Point, N.C,he loved cooking, fishing, and listening to old school R&B music. A very sociable person, Randolph enjoyed meeting and conversing with everyone that he came into contact with throughout his life. Always charming and loving with never a loss for words, he was a very devoted and dear friend.

Although he was never married, he is survived by his loving children, Tony Lamont Williams and Katina Lanise Potts of Greensboro N.C., Jamal Cobb of Brookhaven, GA, and Demetria Roseboro of High Point, N.C. Those also left to hold him forever dear in their hearts are his sister Teresa Baskin of Houston, TX; two brothers Roger Hickson of Houston, TX and Rudolph Baldwin of Jamestown, N.C.; grandchildren, Makayla Speight of Greensboro, N.C. and Mykia Williams of High Point, N.C.; nephews, Ronald Eugene Roseboro Jr. of Greensboro, N.C., Dajuan Hickson of High Point, N.C., Nicholas Hickson of Atlanta, GA, Ricky Baskin and Robert Jones of Houston, TX; nieces, Tonya Jones and Tammy Jackson of Houston, TX; beloved cousins, Ruth Roseboro, William Roseboro Jr., Barbara Roseboro Myers, and Mary Louise Roseboro of Morganton, N.C, Gwendolyn Green and Teresa Gray of Conyers, GA, Rhonda Mitchell of Winston-Salem, N.C., Patricia Dumas, Angela Hopkins, and Chris Dickey of Greensboro, N.C., and Domanique Sutton of High Point, N.C. There are also many other relatives and very dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at graveside on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at GuilRand Memorial Park Cemetery, 1550 NC 62W High Point, NC. The service will be at 12 noon.

Public viewing at the funeral home will be on Friday from 1 to 6pm.
