Nadine Renee' (Hill) Rubin

Nadine Renee Hill was born to Katherine Hill on October 28, 1966 in High Point, North Carolina. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, auntie, and bonus mother to many. Those that had a chance to be graced with her presence knew her as a spiritual, radiant, selfless, courageous soul that exuded effortless strength. Her greatest achievement was becoming a mother and grandmother to her “grand blessings.”

Nadine was a 10-year breast cancer survivor and took great pride in sharing her journey with others. She never complained or questioned her fate. She would always say, “God would never give you more than you can bare.” She was a warrior in the field of life and conquered all quests. Whether you knew her as Mama Nadine or Nay, she touched you in a way only she knew how. She would want you to remember her for her beautiful smile and soul.

On the morning of February 7, 2021, God called our Angel home in a peaceful slumber at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is survived by her mother Katherine Hill, her sisters, Eunice Hill, Anita (Chauncey) Callaway, Bonita (Tony) Suber and brother, Garcia Hill.

Her beautiful spirit will forever be cherished in the lives of her four children: Marquita Hill, Monique Dockery, Tamara Dockery, Mya McIntyre, and William (Shanica) Dockery. Nephews and Nieces: Donald Simms, Darian Miller, Diamonique Suber, Cameron Callaway. Grand blessings: Rayonna Bethea, Ava Dockery, Rayephael Bethea Jr., Taliyah Dockery, Zaria Dockery, Aaden Dockery, Ky-mani Pressley, Dorian Dockery-Burkes. Bonus grand blessings: Xavien Rhone, DaQuan Mckee, Nyaza McKee, Alyce Tillman.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at High Point Deliverance Center, 103 Crestwood Circle, High Point, NC at 1:00 p.m.  The public viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 to 6 pm.
