Mary Marie Reynolds was born on March 4, 1946 to Charlie Reynolds and Mary Lawson Reynolds in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. After a brief illness she peacefully slipped to eternal rest at Cone Health on November 4, 2018. She was affectionately known as Sallie Ann and Sally.
Mary was a graduate of Laughlin High School in Summerfield. She started working for Adams Mills, which later became Hanesbrands Inc., for forty-six years before retiring. A woman of faith, she was a member of the late Lowes Memorial Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Reynolds, James Searcy and Thurman Searcy; and a sister, Velma Henderson.
She leaves her cherished memories to her daughter, Anita Reynolds of the home; brother, Charles Reynolds of the home; sister, Novella Watkins of Kernersville; her most beloved nephew, Darrell Watkins of Stokesdale; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be given for her in a private service. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
