Mary Louise (McGill) Lassiter

Mrs. Mary Louis McGill Lassiter transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Kernersville, NC. She was born in High Point, NC on December 2, 1935, to Alice Hoke McGill and Johnny Grier McGill.

Mary attended High Point City Schools. She was employed with Alma Desk Furniture Company for over 25 years. After a layoff she enjoyed some time at home and later returned to the workforce and was employed by Graphik Dimensions Ltd until retirement.  Mary was a humble and kind Soul. More of an introvert than an extrovert, you would hardly know that she was in the room. Through her kind and generous nature, she aided in leading many of her co-workers to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Mary leaves to cherish precious memories three daughters, Patricia Lanier, Sandra Smith, and Gale Nowlin (Randy); a son, Calvandus Lassiter III (Stacy); seven grandchildren, Richard Lanier III (Tamika), Marlon McGill (Sherie), Ahisa Lanier, Latasha Kirk (Derek Kirk), Vicki Smith Bradley and Timothy Smith (Chanda) and Linda Lanier; ten great grandchildren, Robert Lanier, Ivana Lanier, Jaylyn Lanier, Corey Pate, Dorian McGill, Camden McGill, Seniah Lanier, Timothy Smith II and Norie and Everly Smith; Cousins in NC and Virginia.

A Funeral Service will be given at 11:30am, Wednesday, Oct. 4th, at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St., High Point.  Family visitation will be from 11 to 11:30am
