Obituary

 

Ms. Lucille Colson departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 2, 2023. She was born in Wadesboro, NC, on December 7, 1938, to the late Paul Colson and Jessie Mae Hall.

She attended the Anson County Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings: Ollie Mae Nicholson and Annie Lee Bell.

She left to cherish her memories: two sisters, Evangelist Pearl Ryan of New York and Josephine Jones of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Walter Colson of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Service of Celebration will be given at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at The Chapel of Johnson & Sons, 206 Fourth Street, High Point, NC. The family will receive visitors and friends at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, NC. In every effort to protect our families, protective facial coverings and social distancing are mandatory requirements.
