Louise (Nelson) Quick

Mrs. Louise N. Quick, daughter of the late Edward and Ethelene Nelson, was born July 6, 1942, in High Point NC. Following an extended illness, she transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

Louise was educated in the City of High Point Public Schools System. Mrs. Louise was joined in marriage with Mr. James A. Quick in High Point, NC.

Louise loved working with her flowers and she also enjoyed crafting. She loved to shop for bargains and her most favorite pastime was watching westerns. However, her most enjoyable time was spent being a “Ne-Ne” to her grandchildren and showering them with love. She simply loved spending quality time with her family and friends. In the neighborhood, she was loved, respected, and known as “Nana”. Her love and compassion will truly be missed.

Louise was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Nelson, and two brothers Edward Mark Nelson Jr., and Louis Nelson.

She leaves to cherish, her daughters, Fontella Nelson and Ronald Eugene Roseboro Jr. of the home and Sharrone (Jeremiah Jr.) Rorie of High Point, NC; three sisters Mary Jenkins, Carolyn Lovely, and Mattie Barns; three brothers Kenneth Nelson, Alvin (Sherry) Nelson, James (Carolyn) Nelson all of High Point NC; four grandchildren,  Ja-Quane Nelson, Jeremiah III, Jameer and Ava Rorie. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A  Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the graveside, at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, North Carolina.  The service will start at 2 0'clock.
