Loria Ann (Wright) Poole

A Service will be given in her memory on Sunday, December, 8, 2024 at The Victory Center Ministries, 605 National Highway, Thomasville, NC  27360.  The service will begin at 2:30pm.

Loria Ann Wright Poole entered the world on November 8, 1959 and departed this life at 65 years of age on November 21, 2024 in High Point, North Carolina.
Loria was a God-fearing woman known for greeting all with a loving and warm smile. Throughout her life, she worked at various places including Harris and Covington, Annex Furniture, The Radisson Hotel and The High Point Furniture Market. Loria also had a love for children and even at one point owned her own daycare. Loria spread her love to all who would receive it, but the one she loved most of all was God. Loria was known for thanking God first in everything she did and every message she sent. Though Loria fellowshipped with many ministries over the years, including Cornerstone Church of Christ, Thomasville, NC, her membership was held at The Victory Center, Thomasville, NC. Under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Timothy L. Warren and Lady Joey Johnson Warren, Loria Poole was a faithful member. She served faithfully on the Mother’s Ministry and was an encourager of all who were in need.

She was proceeded in death by two brothers: Danny Lee Wright and Ronald Eugene (Geno) Wright; two sisters: Cathy Wright and Julia Wright, and other beloved uncles and aunts.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, James E. Poole; one daughter, Shanell Denise Garcia (Arturo); two sons, Kevin Poole and Micheal D. Wright; one sister, Gloria W. Owens (Thomas); one brother, David Henry Wright; one step-sister, Willa and many grandkids, nieces, cousins and friends.
