Larry Kiniel, 71, departed this life on Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was born on June 25, 1948 to Colleen K. Terry and Willie D. Alston.
Larry was a graduate of William Penn High School and formerly employed by Autrim Furniture Mall for 16 years. He was also employed with Kacyan Furniture for 5 years. Larry enjoyed dancing, watching movies and working with horses. He was a member of Temple Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Harry Alston and brothers, Farl Terry, Anthony Terry, Eddie Capel, William Cheek, Henry Kiniel and Sherry Douglas Alston; and a sister, Virginia Frye.
Surviving relatives include a son, Farl Alston; brothers, Ronald Terry, Edward Terry (Belinda), Thunnell Bowden (Crystal), and Rev. Willie Alston (Ann); sisters, Gwendolyn Bennett (Raymond), Trumela Crawford (Keith), Lisa Quick (Lorenza), Cordelia Alston, and Faye Dial; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; aunts Phyllis Terry, Gorgetta Williams, Lorriane Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives whom he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Temple Memorial Baptist Church, 1458 Cedrow Drive, High Point. The family will receive visitors and friends at the church from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. The Celebration will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
The family will be accepting guess at Gwen and Raymond's at 1406 Waterloo Drive.
