Kinsley M. Miller, Jr., the son of the late Connie L. Bell Wright and Kinsley M. Miller, Sr. was born in Cabarrus County, NC on February 2, 1968. He gained his wings on December 20, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital following a short illness. In addition to his parents, Kinsley will be greeted in heaven by his daughter, Zacari Jo’Lynn Miller; step father, Charlie Wright; grandparents, Cleophas and Ruth Bell and Vanessa Miller.
Kinsley loved to sing anywhere and anytime. Having a host of sibling, he learned to be a caring and loving man. He was a protector, guardian and a friend. If he loved you, he thought of you as family. As a young man he enjoyed spending his summers working on the family farm with his cousins and siblings.
Kinsley was a member of the Potters House Outreach Ministries in Salisbury, NC. with Pastors Reginald and Gena Long. He enjoyed helping the church in any way he could. That included singing and volunteering to go into the prisons to minister and testify to the men. He also mentored young at-risk youth.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his life: his wife, Heather Miller (and Princess); their god-daughter, Ja’kiya Nikole Wiley; a large family including Mike, Paul, Pat, and Ricky. He leaves behind step children, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other siblings and cousins. His best friends were like family to him. Kristy King Bennet (his God children, Derrick, Kiera, Anthony and Darren: he was also a papa to CeCe), Ron Cross and Ricky Hunt.
Celebration of his life will be held Saturday December 29th, 2018 at 1 pm at the Potters House Outreach Ministries 119 Clancy St Salisbury, NC.
