John Arch Quick

Mr. John Arch Quick departed this life on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Shannon Gray Rehabilitation Center.  Mr. Quick was born May 17, 1932 in Marlboro County and resided in High Point, NC for 65 years. 

He was an Army veteran and retired from High Point Housing Authority after a career that spanned decades. 

His parents, Adam and Odessa (Sims) Quick preceded him in death. 

Surviving relatives include his devoted wife of 66 years Ella Quick; sons, John Quick (Patricia), Lorenza Quick (Lisa), and Cornelius Quick (Cynthia); daughters, Dessa Timmons, Ella Setzer (Felix), Sandy Cockrane (Antonio), Joyce Thomas (Vernon), and Doretta Quick; 14 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; 6 sisters; 2 brothers; other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at New Beginning Full Gospel Ministries with Pastor Clinton Campbell. presiding.  The family visitation will be Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church and at other times at 2208 Kirkwood Street Apt 1-H, High Point, NC.
