Ji'Zarrah Denise Daye

Princess, Ji'Zarrah Denise Daye graced the world with her presence on December 10, 2024, and peacefully departed on January 6, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harlem Alexander-Settle; her grandmother, Vickie Denise Settle; an uncle, Larry A. Settle, Jr. (Bud); and her great-grandparents, Jennie W. Settle, Alfred H. Settle, Julia P. Allen and James B. Allen Jr.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her mother, Jaleesa Rae Settle; father, Jimmy Lee Daye, Jr.; brother, Julian Denim Alexander Settle and three other siblings; grandfathers, Larry A. Settle, Sr. and Jimmy Lee Daye, Sr.; grandmother, Pamela D. Shaw; aunts, Flossie Seale, Carolyn Smith, Peggy Harrison, Sharon Kent, Mildred “Lou” Thompson, Jasmine Harris, Victoria Giles, Jessica Broadnax and Amaya Williamson; uncles, DeForrest Price and James “Tray” Allen, IV (Odette); cousins, Destiny Settle, Kashton Witcher, Amillion Graves and Jaylen Terry; special family friends, Samantha Adams, Summer Craddock, Brooklyn Johnson, Regina L. Hampton, Denise Robinson, Jasmine Harris, Victoria Giles, Jessica Broadnax, and Tasha Redd; a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom carry her spirit forward with love and remembrance.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamlin Cemetery,  747 Pervie Bolick Street, Eden, NC with Pastor Lamont king delivering words of comfort.
