James Williams, Jr.

James Williams, Jr., 68, transitioned from this earthly existence on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family.

James was born on August 21, 1952 to James I. Williams and Edna Whiteside Williams in High Point.  A Guilford County native, he attended the local school system and was employed in the local manufacturing companies.  James was a compassionate person and would do anything for his family.  He was always there for all his nieces and nephews. He loved sports, old movies, westerns and comedy TV shows.  He will be greatly missed.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives who are left to cherish loving memories include his sisters, Carolyn Williams Kent and Edna Danette Williams; a brother, Terry Williams; nieces, Tiki W. Burris, Tya Kent, LaShanda Williams, Toneka Williams, Octavia Batts, Tyerra Kent, and Brooke Batts; nephews Terry Lowery, Antoine Allen, Isaiah Lowery, Jalen Lowery, and TJ Batts; a host of cousins and beloved friends.

A Service In Memory of Mr. Williams will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street, at 11:00 am.  Please adhere to CDC COVID 19 guidelines and wear your mask.
