Frank Dorsette

Mr. Frank Dorsette transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Frank was born June 25, 1935 to Henry Dorsette & Blanche Gannaway Dorsette in High Point, North Carolina.

A Guilford County native, Frank received his education in the High Point City Schools. He retired from Carpenter Co. as a truck Driver.

Frank never met a stranger, he was always supportive to his friends, and was well liked and adored by all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time outside, he loved sports, fishing and especially spending quality time with his family and friends. We thank God for his life of love, joy and devotion to God and others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Clarence, Leon and George Dorsette; and a sister, Sarah D. Holmes.

Frank leaves to cherish fond memories, a sister, Margaret Ingram (Caesar) of Winston Salem, NC; sister- in-law, Lovie Dorsette of High Point, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends, James Padgett, Bobby Davis and Pattie Rorie; other relatives and beloved friends

A Celebration of Life will be given in a private service on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 903 E. Kearns Street, High Point, North Carolina.  Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown.
