Obituary

On November 3, 2022 Evelyn went home to be with her heavenly father. She was born April 13, 1934 in Marlboro County, SC, NC to Frank Stubbs and Mary Jane Ford. She attended schools in Bennettsville, SC.
Before being confined to her home, she attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. In her family she was known for her quick wit and loving sense of humor.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and three sisters, Elise, Margaret, and Carolyn Walker. She leaves behind a son, Wilbert Morrison, Jr. of Bennettsville, SC; daughter Mary Frances Perkins (David) of the home; six step-children Glen Dines, Jr. (Yvonne) of High Point; Mamie Kelly of Washington, DC; Dot Dines of McCall, SC; Ricky Dines (Catherine) of Fayetteville, NC; Nick Dines (Mary) of Bennettsville, SC; Guy Dines of McCall, SC; sister Mae Hairston of High Point, NC; and step-sister Joeann Smith (Derek) of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; caring aide Latavia Mcduffie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

A Celebration of Life will be given graveside on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Floral Garden Memorial Park, 1730 English Road.  The service will begin at 11am. 

There will not be a public viewing.
