Eric Lamont Peak

Eric Lamont Peak of High Point NC passed away on Thursday October 9,2025 at Author Care Collective Hospice Home in Burlington NC. He was born September 9,1972. He was the son of the late Linda Peak Jones and Ishmael Whittle of Washington DC. He was also preceded in death by his Grandparents John and Dorothy Peak of High Point NC and his aunt, Shirley Peak of High Point, NC who was his care giver for many years. Eric and Shirley were members of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for many years, where he enjoyed taking up the collection.

Eric completed High School in 1992. He attended the Lifespan Day program in High Point, NC and later decided to attend the Abound Health Services Day Program in Greensboro NC.
Eric is survived by his care giver, Dorothy Frye of the home in High Point NC; sister, Stephanie Peak of Washington, DC; one aunt, Anita Lowe of High Point, NC and a host of cousins and
friends.

A Service Celebrating the Life of Mr. Peak will be given on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 915 Old Mill Rd., High Point, North Carolina.  The family will receive visitors and friends from 12:30 to 1pm and the service beginning at 1pm.  A burial will follow at the church cemetery.
