Donald Fitzgerald Harshaw was born October 9 th , 1966 , to the late Donald Leallison Harshaw and Lenette Gaines Harshaw. He made his transition to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 29 th at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
Donald received his education at Randleman High School, graduating in 1984. He was a member of the 1982 and 1983 State Championship teams. Donald also served in the Navy. Donald enjoyed watching basketball and football. He was a fan of NC State Wolfpack and the Carolina Panthers. Watching sports was a way he enjoyed fellowshipping with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Leallison Harshaw; mother, Lenette Gaines Harshaw and brother, Torie Makeau Harshaw.
Left to mourn his loss but cherish his precious memories are one brother, O. Payton Harshaw (T.K.) of Cary NC; one sister, Kimiki Harshaw Williams (Kenneth), of Virginia Beach; one nephew, Kenneth Williams Jr. (Norfolk Va.), one grand-niece Kaliah French of Norfolk, VA; four aunts, Blanche Peguese, Susie Lovelace, of High Point, NC, Margie Legrand of Mt. Gilead, and Alberta Corpening (Floyd) of Morganton; five uncles, Herbert Gaines (Geneva), Burlee Gaines of Mt. Gilead, NC, Larry Spencer (Marlene) of Clover, SC, Raymond Craig (Patricia) of Stoneville, NC, Amos Spencer of Chester, PA, and a host of cousins and friends.
A Service in Memory of Mr. Donald Harshaw will take place at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street, High Point on Saturday, November 8th at 12:30pm.
