Debra Jean (Terry) Howard

Debra Howard of Ogden, KS, the daughter of the late Luella Trayham and Redell Terry, was born on September 25, 1957.

She has two surviving daughters both in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Myrtle Benitez and Sebrina Martin; 5 grandchildren one preceded her in death, Destiny Martin, of Fuquay-Varina, Randy Bailey of Wake Forest NC, Gerick Tyler of Fuquay-Varina NC, Shanequa Martin of Fuquay-Varina NC, and Ernesto Cangieter; 6 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Darlene Terry, Josephine Mitchell, Carolyn Vereen and Jackie Terry; 2 brothers, Nick Trayham and Bernard Terry; Bobby Trayham, Johnny Terry and Rufus Terry preceded her in death.  

A woman of enormous courage she was a caregiver of many including her step father who also precedes her in death.. 

A member of the United Methodist church. She was a strong believer in God and read her Bible daily at her kitchen table. She donated time at the friendship house in Ogden KS.

A mother who doted on her two daughters with a fervent love and teaching them about God and making certain they attended church. 

A Service Celebrating the Life of Debra Howard will be given on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Clifton Grove Baptist Church, 3918 Abbotts Creek Rd., Kernersville, NC.  The family will receive visitors and friends from 1:30 to 2pm.  The service will begin at 2pm.  A burial will follow at the church cemetery.
