Obituary
H'Aya Ya was born January 1st, 1926, and passed at home June 19th, 2023, at 6:00am with her daughter D'jon Ya at her side. H'Aya leaves behind 6 children, 32 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She was a woman who was driven by the work and word of God and her faith served as the core purpose to her life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and she will be dearly missed by her family. She now joins her Husband, Y'Bret Nie, who we lost August 30th, 2022. She was married to Y'Bret Nie since she was 16, spending 80 years of her life with him. May she rest in peace and happiness.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9:00am - 10:30am at New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries, 215 Fourth Street, High Point, NC., with a family viewing at 8:00pm. Public viewing, Friday, 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street, High Point, NC. Burial will take place at Carolina Biblical Garden, Jamestown, NC, from 11:30am - 12:30pm.
