Anthony LeVern Willoughby

Anthony LeVern Willoughby, 58, of High Point, died peacefully, Monday, November 8, 2021, at Accordius Health at Lexington, North Carolina.

Anthony was born on March 10, 1963, to Mildred Willoughby in Chesterfield, South Carolina.  He graduated from High Point Central High School, Class of 1982.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a varsity cheerleader.  Anthony loved his alma mater and was a die-hard Carolina basketball fan.  Gifted with many talents, Anthony was very creative and blessed with the beautiful ability to draw.  He was a gymnast and an excellent dancer.  Anthony was very meticulous when it came to his style.  He always picked the best clothing and the material had to be just right.

Anthony leaves to cherish loving memories, his mother, Mildred “Pee Wee” Willoughby; his cousin who was like a brother, Darren Cason; a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

A walk-thru visitation for the family in his honor will take place from 12 to 2PM, on Monday, November 15th, at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St., High Point.
