Mr. Timothy Allen, 58, of 1239 Burkston Court died on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Hospice Home at High Point following an extended illness.

Tim was born on December 7, 1954 to the late Willie Allen and Annie Ruth Brown Allen. Timothy attended Central High School and A&T State University. He was a United States Army Veteran and most recently employed as an electrician at W. B. Moore Electric Company. He was a member of Another Chance Gospel Ministry.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Sylvester Allen.

Surviving relatives include one son, David (Arhonda)Gibson of Jessup, MD; two daughters, Maria Alleyne and Tiffany Alleyne of Greensboro, NC; brother Thomas (Janice) Allen of High Point; sisters, Glenda Fleming, Sandra (Bishop Fletcher) Little, Ruth (Allen) Dow, Linda (Min. Robert) Harrison all of High Point, and Sherril Covington of Greensboro;six grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013 at the chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Family visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, 1:30 to 2 p.m. and other times at the residence.
