Ruby Mae (Primus) Weight

High Point - Mrs. Ruby Mae Primus Weight transitioned to her Heavenly home on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on March 16, 1953 to the late Joseph and Odessa Primus. Ruby attended William Penn High School and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was a proud, independent woman with the most adventurous free spirit.  She fought through many of life’s obstacles with grace. Ruby held her family at a very high value and set the tone for strength in the Primus family.  She impacted the lives of many and her presence naturally took over the room. She always offered words of wisdom to anyone who knew her. Ruby loved spending time with her family and worked hard to prepare them for the world.  Her presence will be greatly missed. In additional to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, David Ira Weight; sister, Terry Kilmer; brother, Ricky Primus and a special cousin, who was like a sister, Sarah Young.

Ruby leaves to cherish fond memories: sons, Albert Primus and Ira Weight; daughters, Rachael Primus (Ricky), Tammy Primus and Nicole Weight; brothers, Joseph Primus (Geraldine) and Jerry Primus; sister, Sharon Primus Breeden; uncles, Otis Quick, TJ Primus and Robert Lee; aunts, Mary Primus, Ola Mae Watts and Clara Mae Primus; grandchildren, Rodriguez Primus, Tacarra Primus, Taya Primus, Courtney Withers, Chynna Withers, Travon Primus, Batavia Quick, Tylik Primus, Milik Primus, Maurion Primus, David Weight, Dristan Weight, Drake Weight, Duncan Weight and Luna Weight; eight great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 0'clock am on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries, 213 Fourth St., High Point, NC.
