Mr. Prentis Edward Little, Jr., 55, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on May 14, 1962 in High Point, North Carolina to Prentis Edward Little, Sr. and Carolyn Sadler Little.

Prentis was educated in the Paterson, New Jersey school system and joined the church at a early age under the leadership of his grandfather. He was employed with the City of High Point for many years, and his last place of employment was with Dairy Fresh of High Point, North Carolina.

Prentis was a loving and caring father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.  In his leisure time he loved to listen to music.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Darrell Little and sister, Debra Lynn Little.

With fond and cherished memories, Prentis is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sadler Green of Florence, South Carolina;  son, Danarius Little; stepson, Kenneth Jones; daughter, Sasha Hunt and stepdaughter, Tawnjal Hunt-Forrest; three grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Little of Florence, South Carolina and Sabrina Sadler of Syracuse, NY; two aunts, Bettie Glenn and Barbara Bussie of Paterson, New Jersey; a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Service of Love will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2017 at The Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home.  Family visitation will be 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the chapel.  Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown. Public Viewing Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm
