Mr. Michael Dennis Wall, 62, died suddenly on Friday, February 3, 2017.  Michael was born on July 9, 1954 at Fort Sill, OK.  and a graduate of Hayfield High School in Alexandria, VA.  Coming here from Augusta, GA, he had been a resident since 1994.  Michael was a twenty year U.S. Army Veteran, as was his father and three other siblings who served in the Army, Air Force and Navy.  The family takes great pride in their service. Michael had a big heart but always presented himself as being tough.  He would do anything to help you and had a great sense of humor.  He was employed as a LPN with Guilford County as well as a CPR instructor. 

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Mock Wall and brothers, Jaby "Boot" Wall, Jr. and Purcell Wall.

Surviving relatives include his father, Jaby Wall, Sr. of Thomasville; sisters, Brenda Caraway (Lester) of Thomasville, Pamela Jones, and Sherri Taylor both of High Point; brothers, Ralph Wall of Michigan and Tim Wall of Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3p.m. on Sunday, February, 12, 2017  at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St.  followed by a repast until 5p.m. at Pamela Jones's residence, 716 Westchester Dr., Apt. E, High Point.
