Mr. Isaiah Richardson, Jr., 70, of 2903 Malverne Drive died on Thursday, December 27, 2017 at home.

Isaiah was born on July 24, 1947 to the late Isaiah and Ida Hicks Richardson in High Point, NC. He attended Guilford County Schools and graduated from William Penn High School. He is formerly employed by Leggett and Platt. Isaiah was a member of Dothan Praise and Worship Ministries. Isaiah was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He also had a passion for going on long walks and volunteering at the local homeless shelter and church food banks.

Isaiah was preceded in death by his parents and great nephews Deon and Isaiah Richardson.

Surviving relatives include son, Eric Leon Richardson; two brothers, Rev. Larry (Rev. Diana) Richardson, and Steve Richardson; one sister, Jackie Hicks all of High Point; two nephews, Tony (Miracle) Richardson of High Point, Larry (Alexis) Richardson, Jr. of Salisbury; two nieces, Jessica Richardson of Kernersville, and Latisha Rorie of Charlotte; one uncle, Freddy Richardson of Greensboro; and one aunt, Alberta Walker of Durham and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Foster Grove Baptist Church, 112 Scientific St., Jamestown, North Carolina.  Family visitation will be 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. preceding the service and other times at Larry's and Diana's home at 140 Asbill Ave., High Point.
