Mrs. Hazetta Little Williams, 84, transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday at Guilford Health Care Center.
Ray Hazetta was born on July 10, 1933 to Marion Little and Etta Ingram Little in Wadesboro, North Carolina. She had been an area resident for most of her life and was a graduate of William Penn High School. She found working with children very rewarding and was formerly employed as a teacher with Guilford County Schools. Hazetta took great pride in the way she took care of her family. She loved the time she spent with them. She also enjoyed traveling with friends to Las Vegas and Atlantic City to visit the casinos.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Williams; daughter, Vanessa Scott; brothers, Marion Little, Jr. and Prentis Little.
Surviving relatives include sons, Donald Scott of High Point and Miles Glenn Williams (Jane) of Anaheim, California; grandson, Travis Scott of High Point; brother, James Little of High Point; step sister, Carolyn Green of South Carolina; nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth Street, High Point. The family will receive visitors and friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
