Ella Mae Wallington Siddle, 93, of Oak Ridge died on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Moses Cone.  Ella Mae was born on October 22, 1923 to the late Reverend Lacy F. Wallington and Mrs. Lucille (Mama Ceil) Jones Wallington. Ella Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John W. Siddle, three of her children, Mary Lea Erwin, Arnold Cole, DoRay Ethel Wallington, her sister, Mrs. Sadie Gilmer, and brother, Lacy Frank Wadelington, Jr.

She was survived by five of her children: Martha Wallington Foust of Oak Ridge, N.C, Bishop Michael Cole (Herminia, “Aimee”) of Grand Forks, N.D., Alfred James Cole (Raynell) of Greensboro, NC, Wesley Siddle (Ona) of Fayetteville, NC, and Tony Siddle of Grand Forks, ND. In addition, she is survived by 19 grandchildren:  Kendra Foust, Petrice (Trico) Wallington, John Donnell Wallington, Julius Moore, Jr., James Cole, Jr., April Cole Neal, Ebony White, Toshira Britt, Veronica Norcott, Iris Austin, Tony Bloodworth, Bernice Cole Morris, David Cole, Justin Siddle, Kristine Siddle, Kris Siddle, Tianna Siddle, Kanika McAdoo, Grace Larson, and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be 12:30 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Oak Ridge First Baptist Church, 2445 Oak Ridge Rd., Oak Ridge, NC.  Family visitation will be 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the church on Wednesday.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
