Camellia Joyce Wilfoung

October 19, 1958 ~ June 12, 2017 (age 58) 58 Years Old


Ms. Camellia "Cam" Joyce Wilfoung passed away on June 12, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  During her illness she was diligently cared for by all of her family members, especially her sisters.  She was born on October 19, 1958.

Camellia was a graduate of High Point Central High School and Guilford Technical Community College.  She was a member of Williams Memorial CME church and was known for her beautiful smile, caring nature and her passion for gardening, cooking and baking.

Camellia was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Ingram and a sister, Catherine Wilfoung.

Let to cherish loving memories include her only child, Aaron Trevino Hughes; mother, Mary Barber Wilfoung; six sisters, Jessie Barber, Julia Lee (Bashid), Doris Hammond (Willie), Avonia Hamberg (Oskar), Toni Wilfoung, and Zona Wilfoung; four brothers, Charles Barber (Deborah), Victor Wilfoung (April ), Jerry Ingram (Gail), and Barry Wilfoung; grandchildren, Breanna, Aaron L. and Jahkiya Hughes, Khaden Buie, Aubrey Bethea and Myla Jackson.  Camellia had thirty nieces and nephews, forty three great nieces and nephews, five great great nieces and nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

 

Aaron would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Camellia's oldest sister, Jessie Barber and lifelong friend, LeValla Neely McDaniel.

A funeral service will be 11:00, Monday, June 19, 2017 at Williams Memorial CME Church, 3400 Triangle Lake Road.  Family visitation will be 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Monday.  Burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.
