Anthony Morgan Obituary

Anthony Fitzgerald Morgan was born on May 28, 1964.  He departed this earthly life on Monday, December 23, 2019 to go to his eternal home in heaven.  Tony, as he was called by many, was a so full of life and joy.  He never met a stranger and was always telling jokes and trying to make everyone laugh. Tony was known for his sharp dressing which most of the time included wearing a hat or sunglasses.  He loved sports, especially the North Carolina Tarheels.  Anytime that you talked to Tony, you could almost be sure that he would say his two famous sayings, "mocha joka and Indeed".  Although it hurt us for Tony to leave us, we know that memories of him will always live on in our hearts.

His brother, Wayne Morgan, an aunt Rachel Morgan, and his grandmother, Ms. Johnsie Morgan all proceeded him in death.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Talicia Robinson Morgan of Raleigh, NC, two sons, Christopher Stotts, and Darryl Johnson both of High Point, NC and his daughter, Makita Tillman of the home; a granddaughter, Shaniyah Stotts. He also leaves many memories and good times with his dear and loving mother, Ms. Carolyn Morgan of High Point, NC; one sister, Ronsie Robinson of Colorado, and a God sister, Geraldine Ingram of High Point, NC; six brothers, Robert Reeves of South Carolina, Timothy Reeves and Michael Reeves both of Greensboro, NC, David Reeves of Eden, NC, Kenneth Reeves of Virginia, and Keith Reeves of South Carolina.  He also leaves special memories with his significant other, Ms. Lavette Stephens, of the home; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will take place at 1:30p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at First Emmanuel Baptist Church, 833 Leonard Avenue, High Point.
