Mrs. Lisa A. Terry Quick, 63 passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health High Point Medical Center. She was born on October 15,1960 to the now late Theodore and Colleen Terry.
Lisa was a member of Temple Memorial Baptist Church. She graduated from High Point Central High School class of 1978 and she attended Guilford Technical Community College where she received her Nursing Assistant Certification. Lisa was employed by Silverknit Hosiery Mill for a number of years and continued her employment with Wesley Arms Nursing. From there she worked with in-home healthcare patients until her health declined.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong and caring woman. She loved cooking, baking, traveling, spending time with family and friends and socializing with people whether she knew them or not. She was always the life the of the party and she was always full of laughter and joy.
She is preceded in death by seven brothers, Larry Kiniel, Harry Alston, Henry Kiniel, Falamar Terry, Anthony Terry, Eddie Caple, and William Cheek.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, her husband of 48 years, Lorenza Quick of the home; one daughter, Dominique Quick Grady (Gerrard) of Greensboro, NC; one grandson, Tyler Quick, who she loved dearly of the home; two sisters, Gwen Bennett (Raymond) of High Point, NC, Trumela Crawford (Keith) of Thomasville, NC; three brothers, Ronald Terry of High Point, NC, Edward Terry of Greensboro, NC, and Thunell Bowden of Greensboro, NC; an aunt, Lorraine Williams of Eastwood, NC.
Five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, mother-in-law, Ella Quick of High Point, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2023, at the Temple Memorial Baptist Church, High Point, NC. The family will receive visitors and friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. A burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.
