Cijani Lee Obituary

We are here to celebrate the life of CiJani Airron Lee, affectionately known as “CC” by her family and friends. She passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, and has now joined the heavenly angels. She was born on January 23, 2015, in High Point, NC, the daughter of Henry Smith and Jamia Lee.

CiJani was a Guilford County school student. School was a significant part of her day, and she enjoyed seeing her teachers and playing with her friends. She was intelligent and delightful, and her infectious smile instantly stole your heart. Once you met her, you would never forget her.

CiJani had an enormous heart and had a unique way of connecting with people. Her smile was so charming that it could win anyone's heart in a moment. She loved to dance, cook, sing, and make new friends. CiJani had a tremendous artistic side and enjoyed creating beautiful things through her arts and crafts skills, which she often shared with her cousin Keirra.

CiJani has now been reunited with her family in heaven: Gilbert Jackson, Gladys Glover, Glendora Lee, Joseph Muldrow, Tom Chapman, Mable Glover and, Terrazi "TK" Smith.

Those left to cherish CiJani memories are her mother, Jamia Lee, and father, Henry Smith, whom she adored; her siblings, Joseph Lee, Henry Smith Jr., Navier Smith, Amiya Thompson, and Hailey Smith Clark, whom she loved spending time with. Also, her grandparents, Dehaven Lee, Flora Miles, Henry Marshall (Gwendolyn), & David DuBose; great-grandparents, Willie Mae Hill (Charles), Ruby Chapman, James Glover, and Hester DuBose; uncles, Richard Miles, Anthony Marshall, Desmond Lee, and Jayden DuBose; aunts, Kiya Bethea, Riquiyiah Montice Smith, Charmaine (Chris), Makibu Currie, and godmothers, Lateesha Houston and Cierra "CC" Atkins and other special family members, cousins and close friends who deeply cared for her.

CiJani, we will never forget you. Long live Big C, #FOREVER 9."

A Service of Love will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries, 215 Fourth St., High Point.  The family will receive visitors and friends from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.  The service will begin at 11:00 am.  The burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, North Carolina
