Annie Ruth Williams Foy was born May 3, 1954, in South Carolina to the late Leonard and Mary Williams. She transitioned from this life to eternal life on March 20, 2024, in High Point, NC. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and her radiant smile.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by five brothers and her grandson, Robert Michael Pressley.
Annie was passionate about cooking and took immense pleasure in her signature dish of mac and cheese. She also liked styling hair and would often experiment with new hairdos. She enjoyed playing card games with her loved ones, both family and friends.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories her husband, David Foy, III; son, Robert Williams (Calandra); four grandsons, Justin Pressley, Raekwon, and Rayshawn Massey and Christian Williams; three granddaughters, Marsadees Temple, Adrianna and Aliyah Sova; mother-in-law, Maddie Foy; four brothers, James, Albert, Donnie and Robert Williams; two sisters, Shirley (Willie) Gannels and Tootie Williams; twelve great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Tony Williams; daughter-in-law, Tammy Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
A Celebration of Life Service will be given on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 206 Fourth St., High Point, North Carolina. The family will receive visitors and friends at the chapel from 12:30 to 1 pm on Tuesday, and the service will begin at 1 pm.
