Mr. Robert Lewis Boss, 70, transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Hospice Home at High Point. Robert was born on July 1, 1947 to Nathaniel Boss and Thelma E. Torrence Boss in Guilford County, NC. Being a lifelong resident of High Point, he was formerly employed as a machine operator with Custom Finishers and was a member of Temple Memorial Baptist Church.

On several beautiful afternoons he would sit outside with his art supplies and sketch until nightfall. Another of his loves was cooking and he especially loved baking cakes. He enjoyed yard work, sitting around the dinner table with his family, laughing and loving on his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Johnson Boss.
Left to cherish loving memories are his son, Earl Boss; daughter, Lisa Boss; grandchildren, Sincere Little, Mia Neely, Jaylen Robert Boss, and Brielle Evadne Boss; cousins, other relatives and beloved friends.
